SOUTH KOREA U-19 MEN’S HANDBALL DEFEATS GEORGIA TO FINISH 25TH AT WORLD CHAMPINSHIPS

The Korea Under-19 (U-19) Men’s Handball Team finished 25th out of 32 nations at the World Youth Championships. The Koreans defeated Georgia 33-30 in the 25th place match on the eighth day of the 10th World Junior Men’s Handball Championship in Koprivnica, Croatia, on 11 November (local time).The Koreans, who suffered three straight losses to Bahrain, Brazil and Spain in the group stage 스포츠토토링크 of the tournament and were relegated to the lower bracket, defeated Japan, USA and Georgia in their final three games to finish 25th. South Korea trailed 14-18 at halftime, but Lee Min-joon (Kyung Hee University) scored eight goals and Choi Ji-hwan (Wonkwang University) and Kim Hyun-min (Kyung Hee University) added six to turn the game around.
