Kim Soo-Ji and Lee Jae-Kyung narrowly miss out on medal, finish fourth in diving mixed synchro

Kim Soo-ji (Ulsan City Hall) and Lee Jae-kyung (Gwangju Sports Council) narrowly missed out on a medal in the diving mixed synchro event at the 2023 International Swimming Federation World Championships.

Kim Soo-ji and Lee Jae-kyung finished fourth in the mixed 3-meter synchronized diving final with a score of 281.46 points on Sunday (Feb. 22) at the Fukuoka Prefecture Swimming Pool in Fukuoka, Japan.

They were 12.66 points behind bronze medalists Chiara Pelacani and Matteo Santoro (ITA).

Gold went to Zhu Zifeng-Lin Shan (CHN) with 326.10 points and silver to Madison Kearney-Dominic Bedgood (AUS) with 307.38 points.

Earlier in the day, Kim Young-taek (Jeju-do), who competed in the men’s 10-meter platform final, scored 405.85 points to place 11th out of 12 finalists. 고스톱 Rikuto Tamai (JPN) withdrew.
