Professional basketball’s Seoul Samsung snapped an eight-game losing streak by sending Daegu Korea Gas to its 10th straight loss.
Seoul Samsung won its first home game of the 2023-2024 regular season against Daegu KOGAS 84-63 at 스포츠토토 Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul on Wednesday.
Samsung, which had recently been mired in an eight-game losing streak, snapped the dreaded losing streak at the expense of the league’s bottom-ranked Gasworks. Samsung, which improved to 3-10 on the season, remained in ninth place.
Gasworks, on the other hand, fell into a franchise-record 10-game losing streak. With a record of 1-12, GAS is currently in last place.
Samsung’s organizational skills in the early stages of the game gave it an early lead, and after the third quarter, the team benched a number of its starters to ease into the game.
Samsung rode the strength of its two foreign players, Lane with 19 points and seven rebounds and Coburn with 17 points and 11 rebounds, with Kim Si-rae backing them up with 15 points, six assists, and five rebounds.
