NBA superstar Steph Curry tees off during the first round of the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament, on Friday. Curry recorded his second career hole-in-one on the seventh (par-3) hole during the second round on Saturday.

Two-time National Basketball Association (NBA) Most Valuable Player (MVP) superstar Steph Curry, 35, of Golden State, has made a hole-in-one at a U.S. celebrity golf tournament.

Curry teed off on the seventh hole (par-3) of the second round of the American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course (par-72) in Stateline, Nevada, USA, on June 16 and put the ball in the hole with one shot. Curry, who is known as the “master of the three-point shot” and often finds the back of the net from near the halfway line, was not disappointed with his game. His tee shot from 152 yards landed about a meter in front of the hole, bounced once, and then sank into the hole like a lie.

After confirming his hole-in-one, Curry sprinted across the fairway to the green and high-fived the flagstick in celebration. “I was out of breath after running longer than a basketball court, but I couldn’t contain my joy. It’s the second hole-in-one of my life,” he said. The day before, Curry had made a steep downhill putt from six meters in the first round.

The event, which pits celebrities from all sports against each other, is a three-round, 54-hole variant of the Stableford format. Each hole is worth 10 points for an albatross, 8 points for a hole-in-one, 6 points for an eagle, 3 points for a birdie, 1 point for a par, and 2 points for a double-bogey. Curry’s hole-in-one added eight points to his score, putting him in sole possession of the lead after two rounds with 50 points.

Curry, an avid golfer, tied for 16th in this event last year. 고스톱 Last year’s winner was former NFL player Tony Romo.
